• CIS continue to deliver for Woolworths

    14 July, 2009

CIS continues to deliver a new magazine category system for Woolworths retail outlets nationally.

Made from lightweight extruded aluminium with robust polycarbonate category dividers, the unit is light weight, strong, and ‘user friendly’ with easily adjustable shelves and category dividers.   The system provides a visually appealing category management system for the magazine display making it faster to merchandise, easier to manage and simple for shoppers to make their selection. The system also answers all of the requirements across all Woolworths outlets, proving to be flexible in its installation.

The system is a great example of our logistics and quality control systems, as to date we have delivered 1435 bays to 477 stores, with nil returns.

Project management involved co-ordinating nine manufacturing processes to complete the production run at our manufacturing centre in China, and to deliver ‘Just in Time’ to all states of Australia over eighteen months and counting.

Environmentally, the structure is made from 100% recyclable aluminium that will yield a good return at the scrap yard, even after 10 years in-store.
