    Background

    The brief from our Client Cadbury Schweppes was to take this iconic brand to a new level because a product with such a distinctive personality needs a distinctive display. And the brands 50th Anniversary offered the perfect opportunity to update the look.

    Strategy

    CIS needed to ensure that the prominent nature of the product was taken to a new level, while also solving key frustrations experienced with the old design. This would be achieved by reducing the time to restock the unit by the retailers and by segmenting the unit to allow customers to quickly find their flavour of choice.

    Results

    The Chupa Chup dispenser is a victory in irregular moulding of plastic shapes, creating a very distinctive unit that is easily displayed on top of the front counter at all convenience and petrol locations strengthening the consistent image and reputation of Chupa Chups .

    The Chupa Chups Counter is also an award winner, winning Silver at the 2008 POPAI OMA Awards in the Permanent Services & Lifestyle Providers Category.
